If not in the current profession, you would be? 
Factually, I am presently involved in two professions. One is, as a Senior Engineering Professional: I am the Senior Vice President of Electrosteel Group and I am currently in my 25th year in the Electrosteel Group. Second is, I am a Professional Author having written 6 critically acclaimed bestselling literary books: Pentacles; Frosted Glass; Abyss; Winter Poems; Random Subterranean Mosaic: 2012 – 2018, and Etchings of the First Quarter of 2020. I have also written a Technical book, titled: Articles on Ductile Iron Pipelines and Framework Agreement Methodology, which has been translated into 8 major European languages.

One tune you always hum? 
The tune that I hum generally is Imagine by John Lennon. When John wrote and composed the song, he left the Beatles and formed Plastic Ono Band with his wife Yoko Ono.

One book to read when you want to motivate yourself? 
There are two books that I re-read quite often. They are, The Outsider by Albert Camus and Istanbul by Orhan Pamuk.

One dialogue of a movie that motivates you or you like the most? 
The dialogue that motivates me the most is from Inception by Christopher Nolan. It is: “What is the most resilient parasite? Bacteria? A virus? An intestinal worm? An idea. Resilient… highly contagious. Once an idea has taken hold of the brain it’s almost impossible to eradicate. An idea that is fully formed-fully understood-that sticks.”

The place you have never been to and always want to go? 
Lima, the capital of Peru. I have read about this city so much in the novels by Mario Vargas Llosa.

An animal that signifies you & why?
 I think it should be Tiger for its unrelenting patience.

A Movie Character you most resemble or resonate with? 
I think I resemble with the character Tomas in The Unbearable Lightness of Being, a 1988 American drama film, an adaptation of the 1984 novel of the same name by Milan Kundera. The film was directed by Philip Kaufman, who co-write the screenplay with Jean-Claude Carriere. The character of Tomas was played by Daniel Day-Lewis.

If your life was to be turned into a movie, who would you like to play your part? 
It has to be Robert De Niro.

Luck or Hard Work, what do you think weighs more in defining a successful person? 
I think sincere hard work that a person puts in coupled with some tiny morsels of luck defines a successful person.

One best decision you ever made? 
The decision to start writing seriously that I took in July 2007: I consider this to be the best decision in my life.

A strategy that you always use to take your decisions in Personal or Professional life?
Although I take the call in deciding anything in my Personal or Professional life, however, before taking the final decision and executing it I try to run it through my family members and colleagues, respectively, in the most democratic manner possible.

Whose advice do you seek when in a dilemma? 
In personal matters, normally in a dilemma, I talk to my wife and in professional matters, I talk to the Whole Time Director of my Company, whom I report to.

What has been your biggest achievement?
I think my biggest achievement has been handling two professions at the same time with intensity and passion that both require.  

One thing that you want to change in yourself?
I do not exercise much. I need to change this habit.
