WICCI Names Prerna Dalakoti As State President, Haryana PR and DMC
Armed with over seven years of experience, Prerna is presently working as Lead-Infrastructure Practice at PR Professionals

The Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Council (WICCI) today announced the appointment of Prerna Dalakoti as the State President, Haryana Public Relations and Digital Marketing Council for 2021-22. The Haryana State Council has been set up with an objective to enable, equip and empower women within the public relations and digital marketing industry. WICCI's Public Relations and Digital Marketing Council will focus on initiatives that will encourage and mentor the promising talent pool to create leaders of tomorrow. The council has been launched recently with close to 30 members. These are mix of public relations and digital media practitioner across agencies and corporates.
Armed with over seven years of experience, Prerna is presently working as Lead-Infrastructure Practice at PR Professionals. Other than infrastructure, the development sector has been her core area of expertise. She is perhaps the youngest and the only communication professional to have counselled seven metro rail/mass rapid transit projects of the country. She has closely worked on various campaigns of UNICEF, UNCCD, among others. Prerna has won several awards, including Indian Television’s PR and Communication Aces, Women of Influence Award 2020, exchange4media 30 Under 30 list 2021, etc.
On her appointment, Prerna Dalakoti said, “I am thrilled to lead the regional efforts of the WICCI and work with some of the brightest minds in the industry. Through this platform, I look forward to creating an ecosystem to network, mentor, acknowledge and celebrate the amazing work that women are doing in the PR and digital space."
Some of her key responsibilities at WICCI will include collaboration with government bodies, ministries, chambers, universities and non-profits; make suitable representations and recommendations for any incentives, concessions, policy, legislative and structural changes; organise delegations and exchange with public platforms, industry forums, and other business chambers, among others.
