Term extension for Yes Bank CEO Rana Kapoor
Reserve Bank of India announces the term extension of Rana Kapoor, CEO& MD, Yes Bank till further notice
On August 30th, Reserve Bank of India announced the term extension of Rana Kapoor, CEO& MD, Yes Bank till further notice.
Kapoor has been associated with Yes Bank since 2003 as the Founder and CEO. As per a media report, the stakeholders had affirmed the extension for another three years for him in June 2018.
In a Bombay Stock Exchange report, Yes Bank stated, "We wish to inform you that the Bank has received the RBI' s approval that Shri Rana Kapoor may continue as Managing Director & CEO of YES Bank till further notice from RBI.”
Kapoor is a professional entrepreneur for two decades and had established YES Bank n 2003. He was also the CEO & Managing Director and main managing partner of Rabo India Finance Pvt. Ltd.
Prior to Rabo India, he was designated as the General Manager & Country Head, ANZ Grindlays' Investment Bank for two years from 1996-98. Hem had served for 15 years at the Bank of America from 1980-95 as Head of Wholesale Banking Business and also headed assignments in Asian countries.
