Sportz Interactive, the first sports-focused content and technology solutions company in Asia, has always focused on its people. They call their employees ‘players’, aptly named given the industry, its emphasis on team spirit and a work culture that prides itself on passion, commitment, innovation, quality and fun. This year, Sportz Interactive is geared up to add approximately 200 new players across functions and business verticals. The diversity of talent will be spread across verticals such as Data & Video Technology, Interactive Solutions, and Content Management, as well as Support Functions.

Sportz Interactive has a solid reputation for revolutionizing the sports experience with its cutting-edge websites, live sports data, data visualisations, mobile applications, fantasy games, digital content and technology innovations. Over the last two decades, the Sportz Interactive headquarters has grown from a humble garage to a sprawling 27,000 feet sporty office ‘arena’. The stupendous growth can be attributed to its in-house talent; and there are various factors that make it an amazing place to work at, such as the hybrid model which allows for flexibility to work from anywhere, the multi-team SI Games annual competition, and most importantly, the opportunity to work with the biggest names in the sports ecosystem.

The company prides itself on its ability to take care of its players, creating various initiatives that focus on the physical and mental well-being of the employees. No players were laid off during the pandemic, even though there were limited sporting events.

Once again, Sportz Interactive is opening its doors for new players. A key focus for talent acquisition will be through campus hiring, which accounts for 25% of the personnel to be onboarded. Business, Journalism/Media, Sports Management and Engineering institutes are the primary targets for campus hiring.

Kabir Sahib, Chief Commercial Officer, Sportz Interactive says, “A company is only as strong as its team. Business is a team sport, and we love working with committed and passionate players.

We are always on the lookout for passionate sports fans from diverse backgrounds who can help us in delivering best-in-class solutions for our clients. We’re looking forward to the campus placements, and welcoming the new players onboard.”

There are also a lot of short-term opportunities available for specialised roles during seasonal projects (like the IPL, PKL, Olympics etc). These roles are diverse and range from coding to data analytics, from videography to content writing, from design to live scoring and more. In fact, many short-term or freelance personnel end up getting converted to a full-time player (employee) status. Currently, Sportz Interactive has over 600 full-time players working in a hybrid system that has been in play over the last couple of years.
