Shekar Khosla Named VP- Marketing Of Google India

Shekar Khosla has been appointed vice president of marketing at Google, where he will be in charge of the company's marketing initiatives in India. Khosla brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the team as the former chief commercial officer at Kellogg Company, where he oversaw digital transformation, revenue growth management, sales and marketing.

Simon Kahn, Google's Vice President of Marketing for Asia Pacific, welcomed Khosla in a LinkedIn post, saying, "Delighted to welcome Shekar Khosla to Google to lead our marketing efforts in India, as VP, Marketing." He has extensive experience developing purpose-driven brands in both emerging and developed markets throughout Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.

“He is a strong advocate of inclusion and allyship, which is central to our Culture at Google. Joining us from Kellogg, Shekar has a proven track record of delivering spectacular results with experience in Sales and Marketing holding senior leadership positions including at Unilever. I can’t wait for him to start and work with our enormously creative, committed, and high performance teams in India,” Kahn added.

Before joining Kellogg, Khosla worked for Unilever for over two decades in various capacities. He joined the company in 1994 as a management trainee and rose through the ranks, eventually leaving in 2014 as the vice president of the Skin Care Business for Southeast and Northeast Asia, Australasia.
