Sandip Ghose, COO, Birla Corporation, has chosen to hang up his boots following a five-year spell at the Company. According to sources, Ghose has not uncovered his best course of action yet and is intending to enjoy a reprieve from his expert life until further notice. He will serve the Company till the finish of September, 2020. 

Having started his profession in 1980, with Ernst and Young, where he labored for a long time, Ghose proceeded onward to ITC as a money learner in 1982. Following a year, he joined Unilever as an administration student. He at that point worked with Kimberly Clark India for near three years before moving back to Unilever in 1996 as local director – North, nourishments division. He stirred his way up to overseeing executive for Nepal, a position he held for a long time before consummation his 19-year spell with Unilever in 2002. 

Post Unilever, he joined the ABP Group as business head for a long time before proceeding onward to Lafarge India as the senior VP. In 2015, following an eight-year stretch, Ghose left Lafarge to join Birla Corporation. 

Credited with the brand change of Birla Corporation, Ghose was liable for the consecutive improvement in the Company's exhibition, which put it in the top-notch association of mid-top players. 

A former student of Don Bosco School, Kolkata, Ghose finished his unhitched male's in business, bookkeeping and financial matters from St. Xavier's College. He is likewise a certified sanctioned bookkeeper, having gotten his Association of Chartered Accountants (ACA) capability from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
