Sandeep Mahajan Appointed As Managing Director Of Goodyear India

Mahajan has taken over Rajeev Anand who has garnered and approximate of over 38 years of administration.

Tire-manufacturing giant, Goodyear, announced on Tuesday that it has selected Sandeep Mahajan as the Managing Director of India effective June 1st, 2020. He has been named for a time of five years or up to the date of superannuation or retirement, the organization said. Mahajan succeeds Rajeev Anand, who is superannuating from the organization in the wake of finishing over 38 years of administration.

Anand will proceed as the administrator of the board for India tasks from June 1 till December 31, 2020, Goodyear India said in an announcement. He filled in as the executive and overseeing chief of Goodyear India for more than 11 years.

Mahajan, on the other hand, has effectively driven farm, business, OTR (Off the street) and buyer organizations under the banner of Goodyear India in the course of the most recent eight years. He has been instrumental in uniting the organization's market authority of the ranch business in the nation, the tire producer said. Mahajan began his professional career with Tata Steel Limited and in addition to that has also tenured with Hindustan Unilever Limited. Mahajan holds a Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore.

Rajeev Anand, Chairman of Goodyear India saluted Sandeep Mahajan on his new job and stated, "He has made a critical commitment to the organization in the previous eight years and I am sure that under his authority Goodyear will additionally fortify its situation in the India showcase marketing and business."
