Roshni Nadar Is New Chairman of HCL Technologies

Roshni Nadar has succeeded her father Shiv Nadar as the new Charmain at the HCL Technologies. Roshni Nadar is India’s richest woman with a net worth of ₹36,800 crores.

Shiv Nadar, industrialist, and philanthropist will continue to work with the firm as the designation of managing director and Chief Strategy Officer.

Brought up in New Delhi, Roshni completed her schooling from Vasant Valley School and graduated from the North-western University in Illinois, USA. She also has a master's degree in Business Administration from Kellogg School of Management, North-western University.

Malhotra has been featured in "The World's 100 Most Powerful Women" list compiled and released by Forbes from 2017 through 2019.

Previously, Roshni was the executive director and CEO of HCL Corporation, vice-chairperson of the board of HCL Technologies, and trustee of the Shiv Nadar Foundation. She has been responsible for providing strategic guidance to the organization ever since.

HCL Technologies posted a net profit of Rs 2,220 crore in the April-June 2019 quarter and has declared no salary increments to its staff in the current fiscal.

The company had a growth of 8.6 percent to Rs 17,841 crore in the quarter from Rs 16,425 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. HCL Tech’s income in June 2020 quarter grew 1 percent year-on-year.
