Ford India welcomes new GM Consumer Marketing- Kapil Sharma

Ford India elevated Kapil Sharma as the General Manager for Consumer Marketing from his role as the head of PR, communications and CSR for Ford India effective 1st June 2021.

His association with Ford began in 2013 September when he joined as manager for corporate communications. 

As a part of his new role, Sharma will be responsible for steering the Ford Brand in terms of integrated marketing and communications efforts. He will report directly to Rahul Gautam - Vice President, Marketing and Anurag Mehrotra - President and Managing Director, Ford India along with IMG Comms leader, Sinead Phipps.

Previously Sharma worked with BMW India as their Press and Corporate Affairs Manager. In a career spanning over 15 years apart from Ford India and BMW India, Sharma has been associated with Genesis Burson Marsteller and Mileage Communications.
