PeopleStrong HR Services Pvt. Ltd, a Multiples PE-led HRtech company, announced on Friday that it has sold its assessment and remote proctoring business, Wheebox, to one global non-profit educational research and measurement corporation, ETS.

However, the financial specifics of the transactions were not disclosed by the corporation.

ETS Strategic Capital, ETS' private equity investment and merger and acquisition execution arm, led the transaction. Wheebox, the purchased company, will continue to operate independently as a majority-owned subsidiary of ETS.  

Wheebox is a wholly owned subsidiary of PeopleStrong, which is a portfolio company of Multiples, a local private equity group. The company claims to service over 100 customers and conduct over 11 million assessments per year across India and the Middle East.

PeopleStrong purchased Wheebox in several agreements in 2012 and 2014. Lumis Partners, the company's early investor, received a complete exit in September 2014.
