Diageo India has appointed Shilpa Vaid as its new chief human resources officer.

Shilpa has been an HR leader with over 20 years of Human Resources experience across consulting, insurance, retail and e-commerce industries. Her experience is a mix of leading Country HR portfolios as well as global and regional assignments; she has led the HR function for organizations with varied business contexts including significant expansion & growth; restructuring and transformation on account of pivoting of business model/ focus as well as preparing for listing on stock exchange.

Laslty, she was known to have been working with Arvind Fashions Limited as the Chief Human Resources Officer where she was responsible leading the HR & Facilities functions for 9 business units across 6 legal entities across multiple categories – apparel, footwear, custom tailoring, innerwear and beauty.

Vaid graduated from Hindu College, Delhi University and has an MBA in Human Resources from the International Management Institute, New Delhi.
