The hybrid mode of working has not only changed the way we work but also changed the way we recruit. From basic mindset shifts to the new specialized skill sets required, the headhunters and hiring managers are catering to newer possibilities amid myriad opportunities.

To lend some perspective,  Axis bank recently came out with job opportunities for housewives. This initiative exhibits crucial tenets of hiring strategies in the new normal. A strategy that involves empathy, creative problem solving and inclusivity into its fold.

While challenges like potential candidates fudging interviews to faceless interactions with lesser-known and new employees have come to the fore, managing and accessing employees in a work-from-home environment has proved to be quite a task.

There is no denying, however,  the concept of work-life balance has acquired a whole new meaning. And the potential employees are increasingly becoming aware and adept at working and thriving in the hybrid system of working. Accordingly, the questions from the interviewees are changing.  From queries regarding safe, healthy and vaccinated workplaces to newer income and wealth sharing models, a new recruit has new questions in the changing work ecosystem.

To understand and reflect on the changing dynamics of recruiting in the hybrid world, we were joined by industry leaders at the BW People HR 40 under 40 Summit. From changing work realities to evolving hiring needs, the distinguished panelists shared insights, experiences, trends, and much more.
