Bridgestone India MD Parag Satpute Gets Global Role

Parag Satpute will relinquish his current charge on January 1, 2023


Bridgestone India MD Parag Satpute will assume a new global role in the company’s solutions business and will be based at Amsterdam, Netherlands. 

Meanwhile, Stefano Sanchini, Vice President Region Middle-East and Africa (MEA), will replace Parag to take over his current role at Bridgestone India, the company said in a statement. 

Satpute will relinquish his current charge on January 1, 2023, and Sanchini will assume his role from the same date. Sanchini will be based lout of Pune.
Commenting on his new role, Satpute said, “The last few years have been as rewarding as they have been challenging. I am pleased to see the fruit of our efforts. I am excited and look forward to contributing towards Bridgestone’s ambitions as a global leader in mobility solutions.”

“India is one of the most diverse markets and it comes with its own challenges. As we move into new technologies and mobility solutions, the Indian market is going to be a focus area. I am happy to be here as we spread out these solutions to the vast Indian customer base,” Sanchini said.

Satpute assumed the role of Managing Director of Bridgestone India in November 2017, while Sanchini has been with the company since 2017 as Sales Director MEA. He was appointed as VP Region MEA in 2019.
