The Bharat Web3 Association (BWA) has named Dilip Chenoy as its first Chairman, with the aim of driving innovation and growth in India's blockchain industry.

The BWA is a collaboration between leading entities in the Web3 and Digital Assets sector, with a goal of nurturing the sector in collaboration with the government and other key stakeholders. The appointment of Chenoy as Chairman is seen as a strategic move to boost the growth and development of the ecosystem.

Chenoy has previously held high-level positions in various industry bodies, including the Secretary-General for the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Director-General of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), and Deputy Director-General of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
