Aviso, AI-powered guided selling, today announced new executive hires and office openings aimed at cementing the firm’s position as a major player in India’s tech space. Aviso’s headcount has increased by 30 percent under the new CEO Trevor Templar, and revenues are up over 100 percent year on year. The company expanded with both new and existing clients in Q3, including major Fortune 500 corporations such as Honeywell and MongoDB.

The new hires, which focus on expanding Aviso’s engineering team, include the appointment of industry veteran Manjunath Kashi as India CTO following a 30-year career with leading IT firms including Cisco, IBM, and Unisys. Kashi was most recently Senior Director of Information Technology at VMWare, overseeing the $63 billion tech giant’s cloud computing and virtualization offerings.

Venkatesh Tekumala also joins Aviso as India VP Engineering, bringing more than a decade’s experience as a leader in software development and engineering. Most recently, Tekumala spent 14 years at digital services multinational ProKarma, serving as Assistant Vice President of Delivery and directing IT operations in 22 cities across four countries.

To facilitate Aviso’s rapid expansion, the company has secured new office spaces in Hyderabad and Bangalore and is hiring new product development talents at both locations. The company’s flagship India office in Hyderabad will relocate to a larger location in the Hyderabad Information Technology and Engineering Consultancy (HITEC) City complex, giving the company a footprint in the heart of the city’s vibrant high-tech business ecosystem. Aviso is also setting up a new office in Bangalore, the “Silicon Valley of India” to expand its product and Go-to-Market teams.

Investing in India is a key part of Aviso’s strategy to deliver consistent growth in future quarters, Templar explains. “Aviso takes pride in delivering best-in-class enterprise software, and our team in India is the engine for our global growth,” he says. “This is a sign of our commitment to the Indian tech industry, and these new hires and office openings will give us the leadership, resources, and innovation we need to take Aviso to the next level.”
