Amazon Rubbishes News Of Layoffs, Calls It Voluntary Exit To Labour Union

Amazon's representatives appeared before the deputy chief labour commissioner on Wednesday (24th November) in Bengaluru, denying all these allegations.

As reported by a well-known media house, Amazon has responded to the labour union that there hasn't been any sackings or layoffs; instead it was more of voluntary exit for all those who had opted for amazon's separation programme and even got severance packages.

Amazon's representatives appeared before the deputy chief labour commissioner on Wednesday (24th November) in Bengaluru, denying all these allegations.

The Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES) has still pressed for an enquiry to be help on this case ad amazon had stated that the layoffs will be done by 3oth November which has further robbed people of their livelihood. Though no one from the laid-off community appeared before the deputy chief labour commissioner on Wednesday, still the authorities have decided to take a final view of the case after hearing it from people.
