Our goal is to continue to serve as the leader in the HCM industry though these efforts and this is how we propose to do it:

1. Digithon

ADP India is the second location in ADP world to have nearly all the business verticals – Product, Services and Infrastructure – at one location. This opens multiple channels of collaboration and innovation and we leveraged this to create an impactful movement across ADP – ‘Digithon’.

The focus is to leverage technology to maximize the efficiency and productivity and make it effortless for our clients. It was a collaboration between service and product teams to simplify processes that align with the key business drivers with an intent of having an Intact team approach.

The effectiveness of the Digithon was visible in how this enabled our people to deliver seamless work in lesser time and focus on doing more meaningful and innovative work.

2. Compliance Tool

We launched an organization-wide comprehensive Compliance tool to effectively track various statutory and regulatory compliances for ADP India. The tool has the capability to send reminders on upcoming compliances, reporting and metrics.

·Self-Service Compliance Nominations: We also built a Self-Service feature for associates to change their Legal Nominations for Provident Fund, ESI and Gratuity as required at any stage of the employee life cycle.

Manual tracking of compliances has been reduced drastically and has helped in prompt actions through the automatic email triggers to remind stakeholders either to update or approve various compliances.

3. Employee Experience

At ADP, we have been putting the latest technologies like Robotic Processing Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to best use to enhance Employee Experience by simplifying how they interact with various requirements pertaining to work. Below are two such enhancements that have made a lot of difference in how we serve our employees:

i. Self-Service HR Letters: This feature enables employees to download verification of Employment, Proof of Address Letters online without having to contact HR Teams, thus, reducing touchpoints.

ii. Manager Self-Service for Incentives & Special Pays: This tool has simplified the process for Business Managers to nominate associates for incentives and for HR Business Partners to approve the same after evaluating. Post-approval, the data is updated to Payroll automatically.

4. The Big 3

Over the last two years, ADP Technology has been gaining a lot of traction, moving out of the labs and into the real world. Here’s a glimpse into the big 3:

Policy-based payroll software

We have been innovating policy-based payroll software to simplify the payroll process by giving the right tools to payroll practitioners. These make them more efficient in engaging employees with a next-generation user experience.

Our solutions are human-centric, which means users can easily get comfortable with its application to a multi-generational workforce. Apart from understanding the rules for various regions in which ADP operates, our Product teams have built it as a “global” product from the ground.

Over the last 12 months, despite the pandemic, we could add more clients and fine-tune the implementation of these platforms for our clients. Our next-gen payroll engine is based on a secure and scalable cloud infrastructure and will make it big in the global markets.

Applications that can be modelled

With businesses revisiting their organisational structure, ADP saw a great opportunity to leverage our low-code application development platform that forms a strong base to innovate applications that can be customised for the way actual work gets done.

In the last 14 months, we could scale this to add more up-market clients in the US, and we continuing to expand this internationally to support APAC, EMEA and other regions of the Americas as applicable.

New Tax Engine

We are constantly reducing low-value interactions and increasing operational efficiency with our clients through automation, consolidated workflows, simplified data access and enhanced visibility.

We believe that this is our key to being an undisputed leader in tax compliance!

5. ADP DataCloud

We leveraged AI to create ADP DataCloud. This solution helps analyze the aggregated, anonymized HR and compensation data of 30 million employees.

Having this kind of insight is a boon for companies to benchmark with industry-best practices and compare compensation data, turnover rate, overtime and more.

As we build on this and seamlessly integrate this empirical data with AI and ML, we can open endless possibilities for managing a global workforce in an advanced and more efficient manner.

For this invention, ADP’s DataCloud won a 2020 AI Breakthrough Award in the “Best AI-based Solution for Data Science” category as well.

We are continuing to work on our next-gen products. Simultaneously, we realize the importance of enhancing our focus on analytics, ML, AI, and AI-powered chatbots to put ADP ahead of the curve.

ADP is growing leaps and bounds with these technologies, pushing the boundaries and defining the best practices in leveraging technologies.
