The expansion is backed by the continuous growth and development of the business in the year 2020 as FDI India saw a heightened interest from businesses looking for soft loans from financial investors to support the survival and growth.
The departments hired for include Business Development Services, Human Resources and Marketing & Corporate Communications, amongst others. The hiring targets for the year are still in the pipeline, in addition to the 240 Analyst level positions already filled.
An in-depth analysis, as per the report the revival of the intent is not restricted to sectors or hierarchies, there is optimism even in geographies. In fact, the hiring intent in Metros & Tier1 cities has increased by 5% point from the previous half-year (April- September 2020).
The Mavericks India report titled - “COVID-19 and Beyond: An Evolving Perspective”, based on a survey conducted with 720 respondents from across the country found that 54% love working from home, of which, 34% are willing to take a 10% salary cut to work from home indefinitely.
