Q- If not in the current profession, you would be?

Motivational speaker, my team says I do a pretty good job at that.


Q- One tune you always hum?

I am a man of many tunes though currently “Hall of fame” by the Script is on my list.


Q- One book to read when you want to motivate yourself?

I take pleasure in saying I am fairly self-motivated and driven; however, The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand takes me back to my college days and makes me remember where I started off.


Q- One dialogue of a movie that motivates you or you like the most?

Guru movie – “Main baniya hoon sahab ... sab kuch bahut sambhaal ke kharch karta hoon”. Having started fisdom and with long term aspirations for our company keeps me in check.


Q - The place you never been to and always want to go to?

Havana - Cuba


Q- An animal that signifies you & why?

A baby elephant, he’s strong, has a sense of pride even at his infancy & he has a certain amount of heft. Only goes to speak of what will happen when he grows.


Q- A movie character you most resemble or resonate with?

Gurukant Desai from Mani Ratnam’s Guru. Such a powerful character.


Q- Choose one from each below:

o Marvel or DC – Whoever makes better stories.

o Batman or Superman - Ironman

o Tom or Jerry – Neither , I am chasing reality and would want to avoid cat and mouse games

o Chacha Chaudhary or Super Command or Dhruv - Who?


Q- If your life was to be turned into a movie who would you like to play your part as which character?

Anand Dalmia as Anand Dalmia, jokes apart Abhishek Bachchan would be a good choice, he has an underrated depth.


Q- Luck or hard work, what do you think weighs more in defining a successful person?

The sweet concoction of hard work with luck. While I continue to work hard a little luck here and there always helps.


Q- One best decision you have ever made?

Getting married to my wife and the start of my beautiful family. The sense of joy and stability that brings can’t be measured.


Q- A strategy that you always use to take your decisions in personal or professional life?

No filter strategy. The merits of being straightforward are plenty. Head first, fast forward and you’ll figure it all out.


Q- Whose advice you seek when in dilemma? 

My mother, she’s usually the one I lean on.


Q- What has been your biggest achievement?

Starting my school “Amrit Vidyalaya” near Baroda. This was a lifetime goal and I am happy to have met it already.


Q- One thing that you want to change in yourself?

Maybe my erratic eating habits. With my travel and exhaustive schedules, it’s hard to keep up.


Q- A line said by your closed one that you never forget?

“Khudh mare bina swarg nahi milta .” This is also a line I repeat to my close ones to ensure we all strive harder. To reach heaven you have to go through ordeals.
