If not in the current profession, you would be?
Apart from being an author, I am the founder and Chief Business Officer at Financepeer, a market leading edu fintech which impacts more than a million lives today. I am definitely enjoying the roles life has for me.
One tune you always hum?
A song which goes by 'Pal pal dil ke paas'. This is undoubtedly one of my favourite songs and the musical notes come instinctively while working on daily chores.
One book to read when you want to motivate yourself?
The History of India and the Constitution. Both these books remind me of our roots and what we stand for. I think every individual must read and make an effort to understand what it means to be an Indian.
One dialogue of a movie that motivates you or you like the most?
'I'll be back'. Every single time. I like Sci-tech movies and Terminator series always keeps me wondering about the all famous Man vs AI battle. The dialogue per se is something that keeps me motivated to not give up and keep trying even if the days are tough.
The place you have never been to and always want to go?
Similar to Bear Grylls, I always wanted to learn surviving in the wild Indian forests to begin with. It would be an exciting and life-worth experience.
An animal that signifies you & why?
A wolf or a dog who cares for their family, community and works towards it.
A Movie Character you most resemble or resonate with?
Frodo Baggins from the Fellowship of the Ring. I can relate to the character as Frodo has humble beginnings and is a person bonded by relations. He makes an effort and is loyal to his goal and his friends.
If your life was to be turned into a movie, who would you like to play your part?
I would love it if my daughter Sia Gajbhiye can play my part.
Luck or Hard Work, what do you think weighs more in defining a successful person?
Neither. Life is not measured by success but by the lives you impact positively. Compassion amongst such people defines success for me.
One best decision you ever made?
Leaving my high paying corporate job to venture and follow my dreams. It has made me realise a fact that many of us ignore - Our life is our own hands and our destiny is what we make out of our life.
A strategy that you always use to take your decisions in Personal or Professional life?
Close your eyes. Be calm and humble. The answer lies deep inside you. Always do the right thing.
Whose advice do you seek when in a dilemma?
My family and friends - because they are honest and care for my vision.
What has been your biggest achievement?One thing that you want to change in yourself?
Even after having a flourishing life with numerous accolades, I consider my biggest achievement to be my weekend teaching lessons in a nearby village which supported a few students' progress in life positively. I will always be in touch with them.
A line said by your closed one that you never forget?
Let go for the day and rest' - That will be my last day in life.
