If not in the current Profession, you would be?

I have always been passionate about technology. I have never thought of anything else as a profession.

One tune you always hum?

There are many tunes that I love, but the one particularly close to me is “Jeena Kya Jeevan Se Haar Ke” from the movie Om Jai Jagdish.

One Book to read when you want to motivate yourselves?

“How to Win Friends and Influence People”, by Dale Carnegie. It has largely shaped my personal as well as professional self.

One Dialogue of a movie that motivates you or you like the most?

The dialogue by Maximus in the movie Gladiator: “What we do in life echoes in eternity.”

The Place you never been to and always want to go?

I have always fancied going to Ladakh, but unfortunately never got the time and opportunity.

An animal that signifies you & why?

A horse. Its swiftness is what appeals to me.

A Movie Character you most resemble or resonate with?

I resonate with the character of Om from the movie Om Jai Jagdish. I connect to the way Om strives to finally achieve success. And of course, like Om, I am quite passionate about technology.

Luck or Hard Work, What do you think weighs more in defining a successful Person?

Definitely hard work. But, one cannot undermine the luck factor.

One best decision you ever made?

It has to be the decision to buy my first house. It was quite a tough call, given our financial conditions at that time, but we decided to go ahead with it. It turned out to be the best thing, as everything started to fall in place after this. It sort of acted like my good-luck charm.

What has been your biggest achievement?

Taking Vertoz to a level where it is the only publicly listed ad-tech company in India.

One thing that you want to change in yourself?

I want to have better time management, so that I can do more in lesser time.

My father once said, ”You can achieve anything you want. Anyone who tells you otherwise, is simply reflecting upon their capability, not yours.
