According to BW People’s sources, internal communication to the firm, informing of the development, stated that while “he steps down as the Head of People, he will continue to support critical projects till he leaves the firm”.

He has played an important role in the progressive evolution and future readiness of the firm while strengthening the HR function and building an outstanding team. Many of the outstanding achievements of the team have been recognised through several prestigious industry awards and are a testimony of Unmesh’ s leadership.”
Details on Pawar’s next move remains unknown, but industry sources indicate he would most likely be headed to an organisation, where he would be in the driving seat of a transformative people agenda.

He exited the company as its Global Managing Director for Human Resources - Products Operating Group after spending 17 years in various HR leadership roles.
