UTI Mutual Fund named Peshotan Dastoor as the Group President and Head of Sales. In his new role, he will be responsible for developing UTI’s sales strategy, providing leadership to the sales team and exploring new opportunities for distribution and growth.

Dastoor brings over 25 years of experience garnered by working over 12 years as the National Sales Director at Franklin Templeton Asset Management India. Before that, Dastoor spent over 12 years in various positions in Private Banking Groups at ING Bank and also served the Institutional Sales business at ING Investment Management India as its head.

Both at Franklin Templeton and ING Investment Management, Dastoor played a crucial role in the design and launch of a slew of innovative packaged investment solutions for its clients.
