The panellists of the seventh session were- Yuvraj Srivastava, Group CHRO, Make My Trip , Emanuel David, Director, Tata Management Training Centre, Tata Group Human Resources , Girish Menon, Head - HR, Swiggy , Nishant Madhukar, Group Head - HR, Ferns & Petal and Manvi Sushil, Director Human Resources, Label & Graphic Materials South Asia who spoke on “How Cultural Changes Will Ensure Success for a New Hybrid Work Model ”. The session was chaired by Sudhir Mishra, Founder, Trust Legal.

“One thing that I really want to talk about is that a huge amount of GDP is contributed by the ones who can’t work from home” said, Yuvraj Srivastava, Group CHRO, Make My Trip. It is all about industries who cannot operate from home, and the biggest challenge is to bring those industries up and running. “We need to evolve and come up with a formula. The industry of travel and tourism cannot go down. It has to come back”, he concluded.

Talking about the cultural shift, Emanuel David, Director, Tata Management Training Centre, Tata Group Human Resources said, “The system is forcing the cultural shift, and you either react or respond.” There’s certain agility in the work force, and people are able to do well because of the agility.

Nishant Madhukar, Group Head - HR, Ferns & Petal said, “The initial couple of months gave us the opportunity to think and innovate”. He expressed how the pandemic was turned into an opportunity due to which with time, the sales got higher than the previous years.

“For manufacturing companies, the cultural shift is very interesting. We’ve been up and running. The hybrid model has never been this powerful before and the last few months have taught us the importance of transparency and communication”, were the opening remarks of Manvi Sushil, Director Human Resources, Label & Graphic Materials South Asia.
