The New CEO Of HUL, Rohit Jawa To Get An Estimated Salary Of Rs 21.43 Cr
Jawa will replace Sanjiv Mehta and will take over as the CEO of HUL from 27 June 2023
According to a statement, HUL will have Rohit Jawa as its new CEO with an estimated salary of Rs 21.43 crore in FY 2024, as per the company’s official annual report, FY 2022- 2023.
The annual report disclosed the remuneration of top executives in which the salary of the company’s outgoing and the new incoming CEO was revealed.
Jawa will replace Sanjiv Mehta and will take over as the CEO of HUL from 27 June 2023. Whereas Mehta who is retiring on 26 June will receive Rs 22.36 crore in annual compensation for 2022-2023, as per the company’s report.
Meanwhile, 56-year-old Jawa is a Unilever veteran who has served in key managerial roles over his career of 35 years, which began as a management trainee in 1988.
HUL said as the chairman of Unilever Philippines, Jawa was responsible for leading the business to become the top 10 markets for Unilever globally.
