Tata Communications Elevates Ina Bajwa As Vice President – HR

An Indian telecommunications company, Tata Communications elevates Ina Bajwa to Vice President – Human Resources. Most recently, Ina was working as Sr. Director – Human Resources. She has been associated with the organization for over 8 years.

Ina Bajwa has confirmed the development on social media and said, “Pleased to share that I’m starting a new position as Vice President – Human Resources at Tata Communications!”

Ina is a human resources practitioner with over 17 years of multi-industry exposure, with the last 8 years in the technology space.

Her strengths lie in being a humanistic HR leader who partners with business leaders to build and execute their people strategy based on the business strategy. She has driven transformation in learning, talent, and leadership for both the organization’s and employee’s success.

Prior to Tata Communications, Ina was associated with Degreed as a Client Product Council Member. In this role, she was an active member of Degreed’s Product Council where feedback on Degreed’s product and its features, and the future product roadmap are discussed frequently.

Earlier, Ina was associated with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Lead – HR Business Partner. In this role, she led the entire human resources function in close partnership with functional heads and senior partners. She was responsible for the human resources function for 400 employees in the India office. She also structured the lateral hiring process, streamlined the performance review process, and drove the overall HR operations.

Before that. Ina was working with HSBC as Vice President HR – Transaction Banking Group & Private Bank. In this role, she was responsible for strategically partnering with business units and teams (from sales to operations) to achieve business goals, contributing to commercial growth. She conceptualized and implemented a Talent Exchange Program for Sales Team between the Trade and Payments & Cash management business for complete exposure to the breadth of transaction banking as part of the career development planning.

Previously, Ina was associated with Essar as Deputy Manager. In this role, she managed senior management recruitment and learning & development interventions at the corporate level and HR business partnering for in-house companies. She was given the independent responsibility of managing the HR business partnering, within a year of joining.

She is an alumnus of K.J. Somaiya Institute Of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai.
