Suresh Bethavandu Takes Charge As Chief People Officer At Mindtree

L&T group IT firm Mindtree announced the appointment of Suresh Bethavandu as its chief people officer.

Former Cognizant Executive Suresh Bethavandu replaces Paneesh Rao as Mindtree's Chief People Officer, effective 1st December 2021.

At Mindtree, Suresh will be responsible for all key dimensions of the talent lifecycle, including recruitment, performance management, compensation,  learning and development, workforce planning and more.

Suresh Bethavandu is a veteran human resources leader with more than three decades of experience. At Mindtree, he is responsible for all key dimensions of the talent lifecycle spanning recruitment, performance management, compensation, operations, learning and development, leadership development, career design, competency development, workforce planning, resource management, and organization development.

Prior to Mindtree, Suresh worked with Cognizant and Wipro in a wide range of roles, including as global head of talent acquisition, talent supply chain, corporate HR, and workforce management. He holds master’s degrees in Human Resources Management from Madras School of Social Work, and in Business Administration from Loyola Institute of Business Administration, Chennai, India. A certified coach, Suresh also holds a diploma in Training and Development from the Indian Society for Training and Development.

Paneesh Rao takes on a new role of Global Head of Sustainability (E.S.G) at Mindtree.
