Sunstone Eduversity, India’s B-School appoints Vipin Jain as Chief Technology Officer. With years of hands-on expertise in Digital Product Development, Vipin will be responsible for Sunstone Eduversity’s digital expansion and will bolster its mission, to become India’s first EdTech with a Hybrid (online + offline) pedagogy. Having a demonstrated history of developing futuristic internet-based products from the ground-up and leading them to a level of mass-consumption, Vipin has extensive experience in handling and leading the technology front at ace organizations across industries.

Speaking of his appointment at Sunstone Eduversity, Vipin said, “I have always believed that higher education can work as a transformation tool for students, in ways more than one. The quote “Don’t die with your music still inside of you” has always acted as a resounding reminder for me to help people unlock their potential and talents through constant mentoring. It’s unfortunate that quality higher education is not accessible to many, due to limitations in terms of finances, geography, merit score, etc. With Sunstone, I envision to take quality education beyond these boundaries and make it easily accessible to all.”

Prior to joining Sunstone’s leadership team, Vipin has held the positions of CTO at the Electric Vehicle company, Mytrah Mobility and CT/PO at the leading international auction house, Saffronart. At Saffronart, he was responsible for building India's first hybrid auction platform to feature real-time simultaneous offline and online bidding. The platform has been used to auction off the highest valued works in the Indian art industry to set world records.

Having done his Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay and Masters of Computer Science at University of Cincinnati, Vipin has an academically profound background which he leveraged to its full potential in his journey to becoming a seasoned executive. During his professional course, he gained digital, internet, & mobile product development and management experience working with world-class organizations such as Yahoo Inc and Oracle, among other prominent names in the Silicon Valley.
