Standard Chartered Offers Permanent Flexible Working Options

60% of bank staff are willing to follow a hybrid work model, according to an employee survey conducted by the bank itself.

75,000 of Standard Chartered employees across 55 markets will be offered flexible work models. By 2023 more than 90% of its 85,000-employee workforce will be following some hybrid work model, starting next year.

60% of bank staff are willing to follow a hybrid work model, according to an employee survey conducted by the bank itself. The Bank asked its employees in Asia and UK, whether they would work from home or work from some place near home or mix of work from home work from office or whether they want to return to the normal office routine.

Hybrid model that is partly work from home and party work from office has 66% of approval among employees in Singapore. 76% approval in the UK and 79% approval in US among the employees of the bank.


In China most of its branches have reopened. While in Britain 98% of staff is working from home. Only 30% of its employees in China are working from home. In fact, an outlet in Wuhan is also functioning in April.
