Samsung to generate 40,000 jobs in three years

In total, the conglomerate is planning to invest amount of $161 billion in the coming three years. The endowment will also target capital expenditures plus research and development in its semiconductor and displays business in addition to the technological advancements.

One of the leading South Korean tech giant, Samsung is planning to generate over 40,000 jobs in the next three years and planning to invest 22 billion in technological advancements.

 Major focus of this investment would be on the areas like - Artificial Intelligence (AI), electronic parts for cars in the future, biopharmaceuticals and fifth generation mobile technology.

The planning also includes rising the number of analysts upto 1000 in all the global AI centers in the U.K., Russia, U.S., South Korea and Canada in order to expand it's AI capabilities.
In total, the conglomerate  is planning to invest amount of $161 billion in the coming three years. 

The endowment will also target capital expenditures plus research and development in its semiconductor and  displays business in addition to the technological advancements.  Samsung also expects to generate over 40,000 job opportunities in the next three years under this plan.

Greg Roh, an analyst at Hyundai Motor Securities, shared in media that“The total investment size is not surprising. But Samsung can be more active in M&As to do better at AI or 5G when Lee is fully back to his business."
