Rajasthan Govt Employees Eligible For Full Pension On Completion Of 25 Years of Service

The Rajasthan government on Tuesday amended the Rajasthan Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1996, to reduce the qualifying service period for government employees.

As per the amendment, state government employees are now eligible to receive a full pension on the competition of 25 years of service instead of the erstwhile 28-year requirement.

This means that all Rajasthan government employees who complete 25 years of service on or after April 1, 2023, will be eligible for full pension benefits. Additionally, a 10% pension allowance is stipulated for pensioners on attaining 75 years of age.

The effective date for the applicability of the beneficial amendment for employees is April 1, 2023.
