Rahul Taneja has joined Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) as the Chief Human Resource Officer at Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. and will be aiming to shape up the operations and performance of the company in his new assignment.

Rahul had earlier resigned from the cash strapped jet Airways as the Chief People Officer in May 2019 along with other top executives due to closing down of the services of the airline. 

Rahul Taneja was holding the office of Chief People Officer of Jet Airways since February 23, 2016. With nearly 25 years of experience, Taneja had also earlier served as corporate human resources (HR) at Essar Group where he led the strategic re-design and HR function for global operations across all business portfolios. Taneja served as President of Cons. India HR Service (P) Ltd.

Rahul Taneja has experience in multifaceted functions including Sales and Marketing, Business Development, Consulting, Corporate Strategy. Has driven organisational culture change through modern Human Resource practices.

A student of mechanical engineering, Rahul Taneja completed his post-graduation in Business Management from Xavier Institute of Management in 1999.
