In an exclusive conversation on ‘Adaptability and Inclusive: Positive Workforce Implementation’ with Dheeraj Modi, Vice President (V.P) and Global Human Resource Head of NLB Services, Chief Marketing Officer of iSource ITES Somanathan .S revealed the secret of creating a happy environment in a company. He said, “we must treat our employees as first customers” 

When asked where the companies are lacking in making a happy environment for the employees, Somanathan answered that companies although talk a lot about happiness but they rarely implement it. He recommended companies to give employees an opportunity to speak about their ideas and understand what they are really trying to achieve. He asserted that the company should encourage employees to spend time with their families and maintain a work-life balance by building trust. He believed that Building trust should reflect in companies' employee management policies and work ethics. “We at iSource allow employees to work from home and allow them to log in to work on their own time,” said Somanathan.

On the issue of best practices, the CMO explained the utility of the technology to engage with the customers and hire more employees who have hands-on experience in human resources management and social media.

Somanathan enquired from Dheeraj about managing the millennial employees (2K kids), on which he revealed that having employees from IITs and IIMs helps companies to evolve quickly and fast.
