Mohan joins WONGDOODY from HARMAN International, a Samsung company, where he was the VP & Global Head of Digital Design and User Experience. He will be based out of Bangalore and will report to Global CXO, Ralf Gehrig.

“I’m excited to collaborate with Mohan on growing a truly global design studio culture, that sheds old perceptions of on- and offshore; that acknowledges that our designers whether in New York, Melbourne, Bangalore, London, or Hyderabad all have a similar mindset, aspirations, and talent. Few organizations think like this, and I’m excited what this shift under Mohan’s leadership will unlock for our global clients and our people.”, said Ralf Gehrig, CXO, WONGDOODY.

In his role, Mohan will oversee WONGDOOY’s experience design capabilities across the company’s five studios in India, help global clients envision new possibilities and create greater impact with his experience in humanizing technology, and nurture and inspire talent to grow and deliver their best work.

“The world around us is constantly changing and that means finding newer and better ways to adapt. I’m a strong believer that great design and great experience can not only solve business problems but also have a positive impact on every living being around us and the ecosystem at large. WONGDOODY, with its strong creative culture that’s driven by compassion, with the strength of Infosys, is the perfect place to build things that are meaningful and future proof. Excited about joining the team as they accelerate solutions around Human Experience (HX) and Sustainability.”, said Mohan.

With a wealth of experience building strong, diverse design teams and enabling global companies across industries including healthcare, banking and financial services, automotive, manufacturing, and retail, Mohan has inspired award-winning work on a wide range of challenges. He was recently awarded the Indian Achiever’s Award for his outstanding contribution to nation building.

“It’s our ambition to build the largest and most decorated digital design agency in India, and Mohan is uniquely suited to elevate our craft while managing our scale. Our clients around the world will benefit from the leadership he brings to our network of studios there, and I am excited to see the talent he attracts and the work they produce. This is one more example of how our investment in creativity is setting Infosys apart from its peers.”, added Ben Wiener, CEO, WONGDOODY

For WONGDOODY, Mohan’s appointment is a key step towards realizing the company’s goal of creating a truly global studio model, distinct from the large agency networks and most competitors. A geography-agnostic approach that ensures the best minds work together to solve challenges.
