Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan has revealed that the government plans to ensure that 75 per cent of the jobs in mines and factories in the state goes to local youths. Industries will be able to enjoy state benefits only if they hire 75 per cent locals.

With regards to this certain rules of minor minerals and district mineral foundation, will require amendments. Henceforth, leases of minor minerals will have to offer 75 per cent of the jobs to bona fide residents of MP.
