Locus Onboard Dan Vanden Brink As VP Product Strategy

Daniel was the Regional Vice President for Customer Success Strategy at Llamasoft (a Coupa company), global leader in continuous supply chain design.

Locus, a technology platform that uses AI, ML and proprietary algorithms to automate complex supply chain decisions, recently on-boarded Dan Vanden Brink as Vice President Product Strategy. Daniel will lead the execution of product strategy and go-to-market for Locus' product portfolio across geographies. He brings with him rich experience of over 25 years in strategy, consulting and customer success.

In his previous role, Daniel was the Regional Vice President for Customer Success Strategy at Llamasoft (a Coupa company), global leader in continuous supply chain design. His experience also includes Vice President of Advanced Analytics and Supply Chain Engineering with Schneider, a premier provider of North American shipping, transportation and logistics. At Schnider, Dan led an award-winning 50 person Research and Engineering team applying AI and ML to complex revenue management, dispatching, and safety problems within the logistics industry. Prior to Schnider, Daniel was with IBM (ILOG acquisition) for almost a decade, leading their supply chain and optimization team globally.

Daniel holds a Masters in Operations from the Illinois Institute of Technology where he also delved deeper into operations with his Ph.D ABD in Operations Research. Daniel is an active member of Global Supply Chain Advisory Council, part of WVU John Chambers College of Business and Economics, where he provides advice and counsel for the development of the college's academic quality and reputation in the Global Supply Chain program. He is also an active member for INFORMS and CSCMP.
