Recently, Infosys had announced the resignation of one more board member, CFO, M D Ranganath and appreciated his contribution towards the growth and success of the company. 

In the year 2018, Infosys has lost four of its top management leaders. A year after previous CEO Vishal Sikka left, Salil Parekh assumed control over the part, the Indian multinational partnership, Infosys still is by all accounts battling with steady loss and precariousness in the influential positions. 

This is the fourth time in the year 2018 when a senior member has resigned from the organization.

On the exit announcement, Infosys Chairman Nandan Nilekani said “During his long stint in the company, I have seen him in a wide spectrum of leadership roles and in each of them he has delivered results with distinction,”


Ranganath filled in as Senior Vice President of Cost Optimization Initiative at the organization for just about two years and drove the cost streamlining activity of Infosys as a major aspect of the Chairman's Office. He has additionally functioned as the Chief Risk Officer at Infosys from January 2008 to July 2013 and has been in charge of Enterprise Risk Management including hazard recognizable proof, appraisal, alleviation and announcing.

In his recent position as the CFO, he has played a crucial role in strategy execution and transformation journey of Infosys. 
Infosys founder NR Murthy has described the exit of Ranganathan as an 'Irreplaceable loss at this critical juncture'.
The company has begun the search for a replacement who will quit in November.
