A professional education company, Imarticus Learning has recently expanded its presence in the online edtech domain. The addition of the online vertical has been marked by the launch of four new Prodegree™ courses, and underlines the organization’s vision of making high-quality learning, training, and skill development more accessible and beneficial to professionals and students. Imarticus will soon introduce six more programs to its portfolio in the online and offline segments and enhance its expertise in both B2B and B2C categories with online training and skill development programs.

Imarticus Learning is the only institute that incorporates a variety of delivery methodologies such as classroom-based, online, and combined, managed by a fully integrated state-of-the-art learning management and governance system. Over the past four years, Imarticus Learning has established itself as one of the top facilitators of training in financial services and analytics to professionals through its Certification, Prodegree™, and Postgraduate programs.

The company has trained 18,000+ individuals globally since its inception. It has developed over 500 hours of content for each Prodegree™ as well as 1,000+ hours of video content to seamlessly blend the classroom and online learning experiences for its students. Imarticus Learning has over 300 global and domestic firms in its corporate network and has facilitated over 750 hours of training for employees across 20+ SMEs.

Speaking on the announcement, Nikhil Barshikar Founder & Managing Director, Imarticus Learning said, “Edtech firms are helping to enhance the skills of professionals in the country by bridging the gap between academics and industry requirements. With convenient, flexible and personalized learning options, Imarticus Learning has helped several young professionals and students acquire industry-relevant skills and improve their employability. With the introduction of new courses, we are extending our expertise into the online learning domain and leveraging the developments in the education sector to provide accessible and highly relevant learning options.”

Imarticus Learning raised $1 million in a funding round in 2016 from multiple investors, including VC fund Blinc Advisors. Capitalizing on the rising demand for high-quality and credible edtech services, the company’s expansion into online education represents a revenue potential of over INR 100 crore, which will further strengthen its position as a domain leader in the Indian education sector. Apart from increasing its course portfolio to a total of 25 certifications, Imarticus plans to expand its presence to 14 offline centers across the country. The organization also envisions expansion in emerging markets across Southeast Asia and the Middle-East with online/offline B2C and B2B programs.
