Jaskaran Singh Kapany Exits Paytm, Abhinav Kumar To Take Over
Jaskaran Singh Kapany, head of marketing at Paytm, has stepped down after close to six years with the company. Abhinav Kumar will be taking over Kapany’s role apart from continuing as the company’s Vice President for Product Marketing, as per sources.
Prior to Paytm, Kapany was with ICICI Prudential Life as Vice President - Marketing and ecommerce at ICICI Prudential.
Licious Onboards Simeran Bhasin As VP - Brands & New Ventures
Meat and seafood brand Licious has appointed Simeran Bhasin as VP - Brands and New Ventures. She has a proven track record for delivering innovation and growth to the brands she leads. As Vice President – Brand and New Ventures she will spear head new business ventures as well as drive brand strategy and integrated marketing along with Meghna Apparao, the Chief Business Officer.
With over 20 years of experience, Bhasin has held key business roles in marketing, sales & innovation roles across companies like Titan where she was the head of marketing & retail for Fastrack, Wildcraft where she was the CMO. In 2016 she donned the hat of an entrepreneur and founded India’s 1st young girl focused Innerwear brand – BRAG. Simeran earned her Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi, and went on to gain her Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (Marketing) from T.A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal.

Conran Design Group Appoints Mayuri Nikumbh As Head Of Design
Conran Design Group Mumbai has named Mayuri Nikumbh as Head of Design. In her new role, Mayuri will be responsible for creative stewardship for clients in the region and will lead the creative vision for Conran Design Group, Mumbai.
Mayuri’s appointment follows the recent development of Havas Group India announcing a strategic joint-venture with Conran Design Group; a Havas agency with over six decades’ experience in building iconic brands. Conran Design Group opened its third global office in Mumbai following successful businesses in London and New York. Her new role will further bolster the leadership team at Conran Design Group Mumbai led by Managing Partner, Geet Nazir.
With a master’s degree in Visual Communication from Industrial Design Center, IIT Bombay, Mayuri has more than 17 years’ experience in areas such as branding and communication design, packaging design, digital media and film.
