Govind Rajan, COO Cuemath Passes Away

The cause of death remains unknown as there was no history of any previous illness.


Former Freecharge CEO and Airtel Payments Bank, and the Chief Operating Officer for math learning startup backed by Google, Cuemath, Govind Rajan, passed away on late Monday evening. 

With over 20 years of experience in driving large groups across different businesses including monetary administrations, telecom and consumer merchandise and internet , Govind’s career spanned across two decades where he held various roles in advertising, sales and marketing 

What began when he joined Jasper Infotech, the parent of Snapdeal, as its central methodology official in 2015, Rajan later on filled in as the CEO of Snapdeal-possessed Freecharge for almost a year between May 2016 and April 2017, as prime supporter Kunal Shah ventured down and expected a non-operational job in the organization.

Later on, he filled in as the head showcasing official of Airtel for almost two and half years between May 2013 and August 2015 and was the CEO of Airtel Payments Bank for over a year from May 2014 to July 2015.

He then joined the Sequoia and CapitalG-moved Cuemath in February 2018 and was liable for the organization's methodology while likewise dealing with showcasing, item, innovation and extension, the Bengaluru-based startup had said at that point.

Other than driving tech organizations, Rajan was a sharp speculator in early phase  ventures, with D2C healthcare startups including PeeSafe and WellVersed being his two investments.
