?

When the sectors and industries across the globe are heavily involved in the debate of work mode in post-pandemic time The CEO & Chairman of American Tech giant Dell Michael Saul Dell emphasised the freedom employees should be provided by their respective firms to choose whether they want to work from home, work from office or desire to go with hybrid mode. In one of the blogs he posted on LinkedIn, he raised his point of view on this matter Over 5,000 people have already reacted to his post on the platform, with over 500 shares and over 180 comments.

In the blog, Dell wrote “From my experience, if you are counting on forced hours spent in a traditional office to create collaboration and provide a feeling of belonging within your organisation, you’re doing it wrong,” In a recent study of Dell Technologies’ 10,500 people around the world, about 80% believe the shift away from everyone working in an office will create a more inclusive work environment. He also mentioned in the blog that the remote mode gives enough space for employees to work and concentrate on other aspects of life.

The CEO also claimed that in his company 65 per cent of people had leverage to work remotely even before 2020, The blog further added “We’ve realised that one size does not fit all and shifts away from focusing on where our team members work to what they need to do, and ensuring they have the right tools, support, and technology to do it.’’ He asked the companies to focus on their organisational goals also told them to remind their team that their actions matter to the world.
