Danone Plans to Lay off 2000 Workers Globally
Two thousand employees represent 2% of Danone total staff
Danone, a yogurt maker, is planning to lay off 2000 workers in a cost-cutting measure to revive profitability. The company is also planning to pull Global headquarters closer to the base of operations in Paris, France. Two thousand employees represent 2% of Danone's total staff.
The aim of these measures is to save 1 billion euros or 1.2 million dollars by 2023.
