Speaking on the occasion, Dr K P Singh said, “I am grateful to all our stakeholders and particularly to our customers without whose confidence, trust and faith, DLF would not have tracked its glorious path of success. My sincere thanks to the Board of Directors and the DLF family, without whom we would not have achieved record milestones year after year for decades. As we move into a new India that is transforming at an incredible pace, I am confident DLF will continue to contribute to national growth under the leadership of Rajiv Singh.”
In his video address on June 5, Singh said: "Today, at this transitional moment when I am handing over the reins of the company to the new Chairman, Rajiv Singh, who as you all know, happens to be my son, I felt that I should talk to you directly and share my thoughts with every member of Team DLF. I am certain Rajiv is destined to become one of India’s most successful business leaders in the coming years. I know for sure Rajiv will lead the Company to even greater heights in the new India of tomorrow. At the same time, I also feel very happy when I see my younger daughter Pia teaming up with Rajiv to achieve DLF’s mission. Pia now spearheads DLF Group’s CSR and philanthropic initiatives which I am sure will go a long way in helping the less deprived and underprivileged sections of our society. "
