DLF Names Ashok Kumar Tyagi and Devinder Singh As CEOs

The whole-time directors Ashok Kumar Tyagi and Devinder Singh have been promoted as the CEOs of the company with immediate effect. Savitri Devi Singh and Anushka Singh have also been appointed to the company’s board.

DLF, the country’s largest listed real estate company has appointed two executives as chief executive officers. Directors Ashok Kumar Tyagi and Devinder Singh, as the CEOs of the company with immediate effect. Tyagi and Singh replace Rajeev Talwar, who was CEO since August 2015.

Tyagi is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad and holds a BE (Mech) from IIT Roorkee. He joined DLF in 2008, as executive director, where he was leading efforts in the areas of business planning, budgeting, project monitoring, audits and document control. in 2009, he was appointed as Group CFO. He was also responsible for the commercial functions, all support functions of the development verticals including finance, HR, legal and secretarial functions, the company said.

Singh holds PGDM and holds a BE in civil engineering. He joined the company in 1985 as a graduate engineer trainee. He was responsible for overseeing the growth plans of the company in the Gurugram area. He was responsible for the entire business of the company in the North region, comprising Gurgaon, Tri-city region, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh including land, regulatory and business development matters, operations and facility management, the company said.

DLF chairman Rajiv Singh’s daughters Savitri Devi Singh and Anushka Singh have been appointed to the company’s board. The company, in a filing on Friday, said the board of directors, “on the recommendation of the nomination and remuneration committee of the company has co-opted Savitri Devi Singh and Anushka Singh as additional directors of the company with immediate effect, subject to the approval of the shareholders.”

Both the daughters have been appointed as non-executive and non-independent directors.
