CK Mishra Joins IPE Global Board

Shri Mishra has served as an administrator, policy-maker and public health strategist holding a wide range of assignments in the field of Health, Education, Industry and Power

Former Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and  Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India, Shri CK Mishra recently joined IPE Global’s Board of Directors. With more than 30 years of public service, Shri Mishra has served as an administrator, policy-maker and public health strategist holding a wide range of assignments in the field of Health, Education, Industry and Power.

A 1983 batch IAS officer of the Bihar cadre, Shri Mishra while being the Secretary in-charge of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, also held the additional charge of Ministry of AYUSH for some time. He headed the Empowered Group on Availability of Hospitals, Isolation & Quarantine Facilities, Disease Surveillance & Testing and critical training formed under Disaster Management Act 2005 for COVID-19 management in 2020. Earlier as Additional Secretary & Mission Director, National Health Mission, he led one of the largest public health program globally. Shri Mishra is recognized for his significant contributions to improving the Indian Public Health landscape.
