Australia based Atlassian starts recruitment for India office

Sydney based software company, Atlassian opens its first office in India, Bengaluru and has hired a lead executive from Amazon and Walmart, Dinesh Ajmera as Head of Engineering and Site lead to run India operations.

Australian Software company, Atlassian has begun with its recruitment process after opening its first India operations in Bengaluru. It plans to expand their operations globally into R&D and customer service center in the near future.

According to Scott Farquahar, Co-founder & Co-CEO of Atlassian, Bengaluru has the perfect technical skill, Infrastructure, and workforce that aligns edge to edge for the company’s long-term goals.

The company plans to hire executives for engineering, HR, design & graphics, product management and other support roles. Recently, Atlassian has roped in executives from prime companies like Dinesh Ajmera from Amazon and Walmart Labs as Head of Engineering and Site lead.

Atlassian is renowned for their collaboration and productivity software – including Jira Software, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Trello – which help teams all over the world organize, discuss, and complete shared work. Lyft, Spotify, and NASA are among the more than 125,000 companies that use Atlassian’s collaboration products to help their teams work better together.

The company has also hired from BPOs and networking platform like LinkedIn and is also planning to recruit more for engineering, recruitment, design, product management, and customer support roles.

New working space in Bengaluru is located at Embassy Golf links Business Park. For now, it is a temporary location but the company is planning to move to a bigger location in the coming year.
