A special shout out to the outgoing and incoming YPAT (Young People Action team) members who keep us deeply connected to young people in their communities and remind us that NOW is the time to support and co-create with young people. Four of the YPAT members join the board every year, to ensure that there is strong representation of their community. Two of the members serve as active board members and the other two act as observers.

“We are excited to be part of the board as the past decade have revealed valuable lessons which cannot be ignored if the potential of the world's largest youth population must be realized. During Covid we saw how lot of young people when mentored worked as Young Warriors to work in their community to create awareness of Covid appropriate behavior.” added Richa Gupta, YPAT, 2022.

“Majority of initiatives by governments and corporates are created without a thorough understanding of the aspirations and needs of young people for whom they are designed. Our participation in the YuWaah board helps us bring the voice from our community and see how the board can integrate programs between education, skills and employment and entrepreneurship”, added Kopal Gupta, YPAT 2020.
