National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has announced 70 vacancies for diploma engineers. Application process has started on its official website and the last date to apply will be December 12th. The candidate will have to undergo two years of training at NTPC coal mining sites.

Candidates must take 2 stage online test 120 MCQ will be there in the first stage test that will test aptitude of the candidate. The second stage test will assess the practical skills of the candidate. Minimum passing marks for both tests will be 40%. However, for reserved categories passing marks will be 30%.

The age of applicants should not be more than 25 years on December 12th. Applicants should have a full-time diploma in the respective field with at least 70% off marks.

Consolidated stipend of 24,000 will be received per month by the candidates and upon completion of the training the candidates will be absorbed.

According to the announcement of tentative dates, the first stage of online exams will be held in the first week of January 2021, second stage of test will be held in the first week of February 2021.

The candidates will also need to execute a service agreement bond of rupees 1,00,000 +GST for general and rupees 50000 + GST for SC/ ST and PWD candidates serving the company for a minimum period of three years after the completion of mandatory training.
