5 Percent Of People Think Systematically: Lynda White, President, McLeod White and Associates

In the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Global Summit 2019 held on April 3rd at New Delhi organised by Ask Insights and BW People, the Global Organisation Development expert Lynda White, President, McLeod White and Associates had elaborated about taking the temperature of Cultural Audit. This insightful topic carried a detailed perspective of 'what is working and what are the challenges in creating your equitable and inclusive workplace?' 


White said that action management is the core of my organisational development (OD)study and explained how she took years to have much insights about OD. White also shared with her personal experience that 'apart from myths about many people being systematic only five per cent of the population usually think systematically.


White defined cultural audit terming it as the "study and examination of an organisation's cultural characteristics." She continued describing the Need Assessment and Employment System Review as also important aspects of the cultural audit. 


Models like Plan, Do, Check and Act had also been discussed along with the importance of Appreciative Inquiry, data collection, data feeding etc. She also focused on the importance of data sorting and how it has been done.
